The Clicks Youth Employment Programme 2026 / 2027 is now accepting applications from unemployed youth who are eager to gain valuable workplace experience while earning a nationally recognised qualification.

This programme is designed to equip young people with practical retail skills through classroom-based learning and on-the-job training at Clicks stores across South Africa. Upon successful completion, participants will receive an NQF Level 2 Checkout Operator Occupational Qualification, improving their employability in the retail industry.

About the Clicks Youth Employment Programme

The Clicks Youth Employment Programme provides unemployed youth with an opportunity to gain practical experience in one of South Africa’s leading health and beauty retail companies.

Participants will receive:

  • Classroom-based retail training
  • Practical workplace experience in a Clicks retail store
  • Mentorship and guidance from experienced retail professionals
  • A nationally recognised NQF Level 2 Checkout Operator Occupational Qualification upon successful completion

The programme aims to prepare young people for future employment opportunities in the retail sector.

Minimum Requirements

To qualify for the Clicks Youth Employment Programme, applicants must:

  • Be a South African citizen
  • Be between 18 and 29 years old
  • Have passed Grade 12 (Matric)
  • Be currently unemployed

  • Be willing to learn and work as part of a team
  • Not be registered on any Learnership or Skills Programme at the time of application
