Position

General Worker – Rodent Control Ambassador Programme

Key Responsibilities

Successful candidates will be expected to:

Community Education and Awareness

  • Conduct ward-based door-to-door education and surveys
  • Visit a designated number of households within allocated wards
  • Provide information and education on rodent control and environmental health matters
  • Distribute educational pamphlets to community members
  • Conduct health talks within communities

Community Mobilisation

  • Mobilise residents to participate in educational campaigns
  • Encourage attendance at block meetings and community awareness programmes
  • Support environmental health outreach initiatives

Inspection and Reporting

  • Reach the daily target of inspecting at least 30 premises
  • Identify and record rodent-infested premises
  • Conduct follow-up visits to affected households
  • Submit feedback reports on identified infestations
  • Record the number of premises visited and pamphlets distributed

Administrative Duties

  • Complete daily attendance registers
  • Maintain accurate data collection records
  • Record follow-up actions and outcomes
  • Assist with attendance management during campaigns and meetings

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Liaise and network with Environmental Health Practitioners
  • Report directly to the assigned Environmental Health Practitioner
  • Participate in rodent control education campaigns and environmental health initiatives
