About the Coca-Cola Visual Merchandiser Learnership
The Coca-Cola Visual Merchandiser Learnership Programme is designed to provide learners with structured, work-based training that develops commercial awareness, customer service skills, and merchandising expertise.
Learners will assist in servicing customers, improving product visibility, supporting order-taking processes, and implementing merchandising standards across various retail outlets.
Participants will work closely with Sales Team Members, Account Developers, and consumers to better understand customer behaviour and retail execution strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Successful learners will perform the following duties during the programme:
In-Store Execution and Merchandising
- Execute daily call schedules across assigned outlets
- Implement visual merchandising standards according to company guidelines
- Ensure proper stock rotation and product quality
- Maintain product availability and visibility in stores
- Complete iRED surveys and execution scorecards
- Support customers with orders through the MyCCBA platform
- Assist with promotional activities and campaigns
- Provide relief support when required by management
Workplace Learning Opportunities

Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Grade 12 / Matric certificate
- Maths or Maths Literacy with a minimum of 40%
- English and a second language with a minimum of 40%
- Must be a South African citizen
- Must be between 18 and 35 years old
- Must be unemployed at the time of appointment
- Must not be enrolled in full-time studies
- Must not currently be participating in another learnership
- Must not have completed the same qualification before
- Must have no criminal record
- Must have no adverse credit record
- Must agree to criminal, ID, and qualification verification checks
- Must be available to work six days a week
A valid driver’s licence will be advantageous as some learners may travel between stores.
