Purpose

Rohlig-Grindrod invites applications from suitably qualified, unemployed youth for participation in the YES Programme. Participants will gain valuable workplace exposure and develop skills that enhance future employability. The programme commences in 2027 and successful candidates will be based at one of Rohlig-Grindrod Offices across the country.

Sandton, Gauteng
Durban, KwaZulu-Natal
Gqeberha/Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape
Cape Town, Western Cape

Skills and Competencies:

Customer service orientation – Ability to handle a demanding customer environment.
Good problem solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to handle pressure and meet all deadlines.
Can communicate within the team and contribute to the overall success of the team.
Ability to be adaptable as this is a constantly changing environment.

Minimum Requirements:

Have a completed Grade 12/Matric with at least 50% and above in English and Mathematics.
A South African Citizen, not older than 35 as this is a Youth Employment Service Programme.
One needs to be unemployed and have yet to complete a YES Programme.
