Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative and registry support services within the department. Duties include:
- Registering, stamping, sorting, and distributing incoming and outgoing mail
- Opening and closing files according to registry procedures
- Maintaining the Register of Files Opened
- Replacing worn-out file covers
- Completing control sheets
- Reporting files due for disposal
- Recording scanned documents
- Retrieving, issuing, and receiving files
- Photocopying and scanning records
- Arranging and packing records for transfer
- Assisting with archival records management
- Supporting operational excellence and compliance management
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- National Senior Certificate / Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) recognised by SAQA
- No work experience required
