South32 (Hotazel Manganese Mines) Graduate Internships 2023/2024

South32 (Hotazel Manganese Mines) invites South African unemployed individuals to apply for their  Internship Programme 2023/2024.

Purpose

HMM is launching the 2023 Graduate Development Program. The program aims to train and develop graduates within the technical disciplines as shown below. Graduate development opportunities are available across the Production, Maintenance, Engineering, Finance, Supply & Human Resources departments and applicants should have recently completed their bachelor’s degree studies in the relevant fields
from a recognised tertiary institution.

Minimum Requirements

• Serious contenders will have a Degree/BTECH/National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mining Engineering, Geology, Metallurgy, Accounting, Human Resource Development, Human Resource Management, Logistics, and Communications;
• Have the inclination to work in heavy industry;
• Good communication, analytical, and logical thinking skills will be preferable;
• Attention to detail and the ability to work within a team is essential;
• Any vacation work experience or practical training experience with exposure to these fields will be advantageous.

Core Accountabilities

• Successful candidates shall be exposed to Hotazel Manganese Mines (HMM) operations to gain knowledge that will enable them to participate meaningfully in their area of knowledge;
• They will undergo a structured learning program for a duration of 2 or 3 years during which they shall have an opportunity to establish themselves as a meaningful contribution to the organization.
