Effectively manage the receiving of all bags and containers

• Receive and allocate all bags/containers on the system
• Distribute the bags/Containers to the different areas
• Ensure all receipting is done as per stipulated standards
• Ensure that all work received daily is processed and cleared on the system
• Report any bags or containers not on the system to the Supervisor for investigation
• Check that the information on the bags are correct and compare it to the system details that you have signed for
• Adhere to all policies and procedures
• Report all suspicious bags or Containers to the Supervisor

Execute day to day operations

• Responsible for the secure, timely and accurate processing of customer deposits brought through the Cash Vault Services via CIT by counting the cash, segregate cash, packaging/un-packaging of cash, sealing/unsealing bags and maintaining inventory counts and levels.
• Responsible to complete reconciliation documents
• Process deposits in accordance with specified customer requirements while under constant camera coverage
• Assist in preparation of customer coin and cash orders
• Assist with other relevant duties and responsibilities that management may require from time to time
• Responsible to operate a variety of high-speed equipment including scanners, note sorters and coin sorters
• Track deposits into internal systems and assign to processors in order to maintain control and accountability.

• Proactively identify customer cash differences, report to Supervisor to correct and prevent any customer impact.
• Required to cross-train in multiple processes in order to support all Cash Processing services

Sorting of Cash/Coin

• Verifying bulk money received from the vault, other departments and external sources
• Verify inbound or outbound coin and cash from corresponding banks, and customers using internal systems and high-speed desktop note counter
• Accurately balance transaction totals, in order to transfer verified cash to vault or to the high-speed sorter for additional verification
• Balance the bulk total/funds accumulated during the day and at end of t shifts

Training and development

• Complete all related compliance training
• Attend and successfully complete all role specific training
• Responsible for personal development
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Risk and compliance

• Adhere to policies and procedures relating to the counting, packing, balancing, reconciliation and sorting of cash/coin
• Maintain a position of trust and responsibility by keeping all customer business confidential and securing all system related individual passwords.

Health and Safety

• Participate in the design/ development/ review/ implementation and monitoring of the branch/region/national safety plans for each year.
• Participate in safety forums created by company for example safety meetings and safety talks
• Report all safety incidents to the relevant people
• Discuss all safety incidents on all levels
• Follow-up on any activities assigned through safety meeting/committee/representative/management
• Attend safety education and refresher programmes
• Comply with safety policies and procedures at workplace
• Distribute safety information as and when required
• Wear protective clothing all the time
