About the Shop Assistant Cashier Position

The Shop Assistant Cashier plays an important role in ensuring customers enjoy a positive shopping experience from the moment they enter the store until they complete their purchases.

Key Responsibilities

As a Shop Assistant Cashier, your daily duties may include:

Accurately process customer purchases using the Point of Sale (POS) system
Handle cash and card transactions safely and efficiently
Maintain high levels of accuracy during all transactions
Promote the Clicks ClubCard programme and register new members
Inform customers about promotions, discounts, and special offers
Deliver outstanding customer service at all times
Act as a professional brand ambassador for Clicks
Maintain merchandising standards throughout the store
Ensure shelves remain neat, clean, and fully stocked
Perform general housekeeping duties
Stay updated on products, promotions, and in-store events
