Clicks Shop Assistant / Cashier Jobs 2026 – Job Purpose

The purpose of the Shop Assistant / Cashier position is to provide efficient customer service, process point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately and support merchandising activities within the store.

Successful candidates will help maintain well-stocked shelves, promote Clicks ClubCard membership, inform customers about special promotions and ensure that the store remains clean, organised and attractive.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Execute all point-of-sale operational activities efficiently and within the required timeframes.

• Promote Clicks ClubCard membership and encourage customers to register for the programme.
• Assist the store in achieving ClubCard participation targets.
• Inform customers about current promotions, special offers and discounts.

• Act as a Clicks brand ambassador and maintain a positive attitude when interacting with customers.
• Perform merchandising activities to ensure that shelves are properly stocked and products are attractively displayed.
• Maintain store cleanliness and general housekeeping standards.
