About the Supply Chain Clerk Position
The Department of Tourism is seeking a motivated and organized individual to support procurement, demand management, logistics, and contract administration functions within the department.

Key Responsibilities
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
Procurement Administration
- Sourcing quotations from service providers through CSD and E-Portal.
- Receiving and recording requests for quotations (RFQs).
- Updating quotation progress registers.
- Sending RFQs to selected service providers.
- Receiving and updating quotations on departmental registers.
- Publishing RFQ awards and results on the E-Portal.
Evaluation and Compliance
- Evaluating quotations received.
- Compiling evaluation reports.
- Verifying supplier compliance.
- Checking tax compliance status.
- Verifying supplier banking details.
- Ensuring quotation validity.
- Confirming completion of SBD1 and SBD4 forms.
- Verifying that company directors are not employed by the state.
Contract and Records Management
- Updating departmental contract registers.
- Maintaining transversal contract registers.
- Managing finance lease registers.
- Filing service level agreements (SLAs).
- Preparing monthly procurement reports.
- Updating RFQ and RFP status reports.
Customer Service and Communication
- Responding to internal and external client queries.
- Providing feedback to stakeholders.
- Following up on procurement approvals.
- Assisting end users with finance lease acquisitions.
