Position: Ushers x 15
Department: Front Of House Department
Reporting To: FOH Manager
Period: Temporary / Contract
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist patrons as they come in from the parking to locate the foyer.
- Assist patrons with their tickets by scanning and helping them locate their seats.
- Usher patrons into the theatre once the doors open.
- Close doors once the show starts.
- Monitor throughout the show and prepare for interval if any.
- Assist and usher patrons into the theatre and increase their overall guest experience by making their navigation through the theatre as easy as possible.
- Complete a venue sweep, looking through rows and seats after the show to ensure there are no lost items, pick up glasses or trash.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric certificate
- No work experience required.
- Great people skills
- Good communication and professionalism.
- Punctual and reliable.
- Ability to work as part of a team
