These positions form part of SASSA’s ongoing efforts to improve social grant services across communities in South Africa.

Duties and Responsibilities

Successful applicants will assist with the administration of social grants at local office level. Key responsibilities include:

  • Screening and capturing grant applications
  • Providing off-site grant application services
  • Administering medical bookings and assessments
  • Scanning and batching files
  • Processing grant documentation
  • Performing grant administration duties
  • Conducting quality control on applications
  • Ensuring compliance with Section 57 of the Public Finance Management Act
