The successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring that public facilities across Johannesburg are kept clean, safe, and hygienic according to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards.
Key Responsibilities
As a Facilities Cleaner, your duties will include:
- Cleaning and disinfecting taxi ranks, Rea Vaya stations, and trading areas.
- Maintaining public conveniences, walkways, and open spaces.
- Cleaning sinks, countertops, toilets, floors, and stairways.
- Ensuring that cleaning tools and equipment are well-maintained.

- Understanding of Batho Pele Principles
- Ethical conduct and professionalism
Minimum Requirements
To qualify for the JPC Facilities Cleaner (EPWP) position, applicants must meet the following criteria:

- Physically capable of performing cleaning tasks
- Basic literacy (ability to read and write)
