1. Monitor Your Email and SMS
SAPS regularly sends updates to applicants via email or SMS, especially when:

You’ve been shortlisted for assessments or interviews,

Your application has moved to the next stage,

Or if your application was unsuccessful.
Tip: Always double-check your spam or junk folder, just in case important communication was filtered out.
2. No Public Tracking Dashboard (Yet)
Unlike other government portals, SAPS does not currently offer a live public tracking system for each applicant. That means you won’t be able to see detailed step-by-step progress unless they contact you directly or you check via the eRecruitment portal.
3. Log Into the SAPS e-Recruitment Portal
The SAPS has introduced an online e-Recruitment platform to make it easier for applicants to apply and check on their submissions.
