Position Title : Port Worker

Position Purpose:

• To perform general operational duties, in the attachment and removal of gear and other equipment
• To do general cleaning i.e. oil spillage, contamination/pollution

Position outputs:

• Cleaning (Shoveling, sweeping e.t.c.)
• A assist when plugging/unplugging Reefer power cables
• Rolling up and placing unused Reefer cables in a safe place.
• Coupling of Over-height chains when transferring over-heights to the transporters vehicle.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Grade 12/NQF 04 equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of general cleaning experience.
