Position Purpose:

The specification and design of IT solutions to meet defined business needs. The design, creation, testing and

documentation of new and amended programs from supplied specifications in accordance with agreed standards. Ensure

support, enhancements of relevant IT systems that complement the business.

Position outputs:

1 Define system requirements, design specifications and systems documentation

2 Data modelling, procedural and technical designs according to application development methods, techniques and standards

3 Structured reviews and software testing

4 Systems Implementation, Training and Support of implemented solutions

5 Systems Development, Enhancements and new solution delivery

6 Cost estimation, feasibility studies and other budget requirements

7 Project Management and Execution

8 Vendor management and SLA Management

9 Be part of project teams for new solutions concepts

10 Come up with new innovations, POCs to deliver value systems.

Qualifications & Experience:

Tertiary Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science or IT Related Degree

Minimum Years Relevant Experience:

• 3-5 years of development experience
• 1-2 years of Java development experience
• 1-2 years of 2 programming languages: Nodejs frameworks, Java, Go, JavaScript, Scala, Python, kotlin, VB .Net, C++, Html 5 and CC; and relevant/appropriate unit testing frameworks
